It was an amazing two days of training of 5hrs each day with Rhea and Harsh of ALT UNFOLD on Comprehensive Sexuality Education organized by European Women’s Lobby in Partnership with Equity Watch Initiative EQUITY WATCH INITIATIVE [E-WIN] The UNESCO International Technical Guidance on Sexuality Education and IPPE framework , the European Women’s Lobby Feminists Principles for Sexuality Education, manifestations of violence in different settings including the home, school, and health institutions, different types of domestic violence, building a healthy relationship, Informed consent, and Violence and trauma informed approaches were among the major highlights of the training. It was a great learning with 15 selected persons from Civil Society organizations, the academia and the government across Nigeria. We are grateful to European Women’s Lobby for the opportunity to be part of this project and for the support they provided, to ALT UNFOLD for the knowledge they shared, and to all the participants for their active participation and contributions during the training. The knowledge we gathered from the training will certainly impact our CSE and SRHR programs going forward.
