E-win celebrates world Environment day 2023

Together, we can make a difference: World Environment Day is a reminder that we are all part of a global community that shares the responsibility of protecting our planet. By working together, we can create a more sustainable and equitable future for all.

As a Woman-led NGO working on climate change and environmental sustainability, World Environmental Day is yet another opportunity for Equity Watch Initiative to raise awareness on Gender Justice for Environmental Sustainability and the urgent need to protect our planet and mitigate the effects of climate change.

Women are disproportionately affected by climate change: Women and girls are often the most vulnerable to the impacts of climate change, especially in developing countries and particularly in rural communities where they are dependent on natural resources for their livelihoods. By empowering women and promoting gender equality, we can build more resilient communities and better adapt to the changing climate.
