Equity watch initiative visited some schools to educate students concerning menstrual hygiene management in Nsukka local government area in Enugu state.
EQUITY WATCH INITIATIVE [E-WIN] menstrual health education and hygiene management (MHM) aims to empower young girls, with knowledge, confidence, and access to resources to manage their periods comfortably, hygienically, and without shame.
In this program we focused on the science of menstruation, understanding the menstrual cycle,
breaking the stigma, promoting open communication, and fostering supportive environment, hygiene practices, exploring affordable and sustainable options, including reusable menstrual products and Discussing solutions for managing period pain, leaks, and other concerns.
Join us to raise awareness about the importance of MHM in schools especially in rural communities .
Together we can create a world where periods are simply a normal part of life, not a barrier to opportunity.
