Equity watch initiative visited community secondary school Obukpa in Nsukka LGA to encage girls on menstrual hygiene education. At this event we had student in their numbers who  were happy to learn and also received free re-useable pads.

It’s Time to Period Talk guys! Let’s break the stigma and empower the girl child especially in rural communities. We were at the community secondary school Obukpa in Nsukka LGA to talk on menstrual health education.

Let’s build the confidence of the girl child through open dialogue to reduces stigma and shame surrounding periods and to fosters self-acceptance.
