Period poverty is a pressing issue that affects millions of girls and women worldwide, particularly in rural communities where access to sanitary products are limited. Lack of access to menstrual health products impacts girl child education and makes her vulnerable to abuse. With the support of Girls Opportunity Alliance , we conducted a train the trainers program to empower local women with knowledge and skills to make reusable cloth pads. @ EQUITY WATCH INITIATIVE [E-WIN], improving menstrual health, reducing period poverty, promoting eco-friendly menstrual products reducing waste, protecting our planet and promoting girl child education remain our ultimate goals.
