Yesterday the 3rd July, 2023, Our executive Director Dr Chiemezie Atama was a speaker at the health conference organized by Students of the Faculty of the Social Sciences, University of Nigeria, Nsukka to kick start the 2023 Faculty of the Social Science cultural week.
Though, she was invited to speak on Menstrual hygiene, she also seized the opportunity to talk about the environmental impact of menstrual pads arising from improper disposals in Nigeria.
She stressed on it’s implications for climate change. It was a great day as we continue to appeal for collective actions for environmental sustainability.
